Pros

People you work with are (mostly) terrific.

Cons

Resign in shame. You have destroyed this company.

Pros

A job with a stated mission to serve the entire and former military community.

Cons

The mission has been lost to a group of managers looking to expand the company beyond it current footprint and mission for their personal bonus payout. Current management are from many big banks that are imposing the big bank mindset on USAA. The company and its membership base is not a big bank. It's their version of trying to push a rope.

Pros

Time-off, pay (although bonus has been low in recent years)

Cons

Stress of compliance/regulatory trouble. Inability to prioritize at Bank leadership level leading to everything being #1 priority.
