Pros

Compensation & Benefits Amazing front-line employees

Cons

Extremely hierarchal organization Agree with corporate line or be dismissed; lack of backbone to inform the emperor he has no clothes. The high pay & benefits serves to keep people from challenging norms.

It's all about the sale

Pros

good pay for this city, great benefits, office is nice with many amenities like a gym, cafeteria, daycare. Top managers of this office are excellent. Middle managers only average.

Cons

This a sales culture. It's no longer about customer service but more important if you make the sale. Accuracy of the job isn't focused on and the amount of dissatisfied customers has risen substantially in the last few years. There is limited opportunity for growth in this location. There is very little time off available which has to be bid for a year in advance. The more tenure and seniority you have the less time off there is available. Same with shift preferences. The benefits were decreased each of last few years and cost more. The company had record revenue last few years and raises across the board were minimal for above average employees.

Pros

Great benefits - 8% + match on 401k contributions, good medical coverage, on site services, they paid for me to obtain my CFP® and a number of other designations, licenses and sales training.

Cons

Management is not open to candid feedback from employees. The pay is low even with the annual performance bonus. Coaching sessions with managers are discouraging, Peer rankings and performance tracking are not transparent. Schedules are bid annually and even tenured employees can get stuck with Saturday or late night shifts. There are more chiefs than Indians.
