Pros

I heard from seasoned agents you can potentially make good money. And eventually you could have flexible hours

Cons

Big mislead. I was attracted by thousands of "leads". In reality I was given phone numbers uploaded in 2013. Many agents contacted those "leads" before and often marked them as "no interest". So the leads werent a real leads but a phone numbers and COLD CALLING. After intensive first week of training I found out that the "field leader" will do presentation for me ( if I get lucky and schedule someone) for 80% of my commission. During my interview I was told it will be 50 / 50. And one more thing comes to my mind; they charge employment application fee of $90 plus fee for each state that you would wright business. On top of it you will need to pay $85 software fee to make those cold calls. You are required to make 4000 calls a month and they will hold you accountable. It was not for me but if you are telemarketer you might have chance.

Pros

NONE. nothing good at all

Cons

I worked for them for 4 weeks.. They forced me to be in the office 8am to 10 pm and forced me to work 24/7 in and out of the office. They installed a tracker on my personal laptop to track if im working from home day and night and weekends. If i did not I get harassed and intimidated by management the following day.. they forced me to install an app. slacker” on my phone and listen to meetings, chats, asking people to dial dial dial. sell sell sell 24/7. i had no life during that period, i only slept 4 hours at night and had to be in the office the next day... I must dial 300 dials min to aged leads and never have one person interested... They force people to pay $100. for this aged lead and travking system... management walk around and sneak in behind you while Im working to see if im dialing.. They are running a very tight slavery ship with a whip..!!! they caused me severe mental and emotional distress..!! all you hear is Dial dial dial sell sell sell. Very hungry and abusive company... It is a pyramid scheme..!!! extreme pressure..!! All this work for free!! I have not made a dime but abuse and intimidation.!!!!!! They hook people because they make them invest money upfront. $100 for tracking software, $150 cubicle, they ask people to buy more leads $200 min per week.. etc....people feel trapped and therefore put up with the abuse in hopes of making up what they spent...

Pros

Cons, all cons.. run.

Cons

The positive reviews you are seeing are from managers who make money off deals closed by those beneath them. There is a lot of money to be made upfront if you can afford to get licensed in all 30+ states, pay $50 - $100 per lead and are willing to misrepresent yourself as an "advisor", but keep in mind when people learn that the coverage is excruciatingly complicated [no dollar or percent amount disclosed] and ultimately drops you for any serious conditions, they cancel and you have to pay back commissions. The management is just slimy gross. They do an impressive dog & pony show of making you feel like "family" but it soon becomes apparent that they don't care about anything except making money.

USHEALTH Advisors Response

Thank you for your comments. We recognize that our opportunity...like any opportunity...may not be for everyone. Nevertheless, we appreciate you for your effort. I'm sure we can all agree that, in general, positive reviews likely come from people who are successful and enjoy the work they are doing. Conversely, negative review typically come from those who, for whatever reason, are dissatisfied. The points you make in this review seem to stem from your dissatisfaction. It is true that USHA agents can obtain licenses to sell in 30 states. It's also true that agents who sell in multiple states can be highly successful, due to the fact they have more people to talk to about our coverage options. You make reference to "excruciatingly complicated" coverage with no dollar or percent amount disclosed. Yet, each of our plans along with the brochures which describe the benefit amounts and/or percentages of coverage...are approved by the various departments of insurance in each state where we do business. I'm no expert, but given what I know about the rigorous state approval process, an overly complicated plan that did not fully disclose benefits and coverage would not be allowed. Your thoughts about management are noted. Again, thank you for your comments. We wish you much success. If you'd like to discuss your concerns further, please contact me. Bill.Shelton@ushadvisors.com
