      Stable company but culture needs improvement

      PTO, 401K Match, $500 ER contribution to HSA

      Cons

      The culture is superficial and money driven. They don't respect anyone who doesn't work in sales. Horrible work life balance - busy season is supposed to last 2-4 months, but it lasts about 11 months out of the year, working 50-60 hours a week. I honestly only stay for the steady paycheck...

      Pros

      You will learn a lot and gain great experience if you can hang in. Great for singles or families with no kids.

      Cons

      They push good employees to the breaking point of them leaving. Not a good work/life balance. Not good for families or single parents. Benefits are too expensive.

      Pros

      The best part of USI are the client teams (true teamwork), well-organized intellectual capital, and commitment to clients (except for cons below).

      Cons

      Generally poor management, poor (or no) pay raises, no performance feedback ever even when you receive an outstanding performer reward, excessively short-term focus which limits investments, no meaningful career tracks for anyone/any position, and a caste system with those who matter treated differently than those who are determined to not matter. It was hard to watch.
