Pros

Great place to work a fun job outside

Cons

Would schedule people to work every single day and then cut them early if they didn't need them, which led to no days off and never reaching overtime because they would cut you if you got close.

Pros

Raft Guide Position is a one of a kind fun job that opens employees to meeting all kinds of people and working along side other motivated people. It is a once in a life time job that provides and experience no where else could offer.

Cons

Numerous supervisors with contradicting requests. May not be livable as a full time job.

Pros

They teach you how to guide rafts starting from no experience. Can be fun and coworkers are nice. Don't have to clock out for breaks, but breaks can be very limited and are dependent on when you get back from trips. Provide continued education opportunities during summer.

Cons

Inconsistent hours. Long days (8 hours outside). Must schedule availability about a month in advance and there is no flexibility. Some supervisors have no whitewater experience.
