      Pros

      Excellent benefits being a State of Texas facility. Support important medical advancements. Challenging assignments. Opportunities especially if you're focused on the health care industry

      Cons

      Faculty and some managers can be unreasonably demanding. In some circumstances you may be expected to be on call 24/7 and respond to emails and texts very promptly. Many positions are supported by grant money - grants end and either aren't renewed or have substantial changes in what's supported.

      Pros

      decent benefits with good vacation time. The work culture is better than other places I have worked.

      Cons

      High cost of parking. Difficult to get to work in traffic. I would recommend living near and using the metro or biking.
