Pros

Big University with all of the pros that come with that kind of work place. Good benefits and time off. Stable. Pay was sub par, but the benefits outweigh that aspect.

Cons

Not particularly exciting environment to work in. Pretty bureaucratic and formal. Not a great deal of access to career development opportunities.

Pros

Nice working environment and great atmosphere. Holiday parties and cultural fairs. Not in the middle of the Texas Medical Center so it is less chaotic.

Cons

Parking of course is pricy and there are graduate students everywhere.

Pros

Tasks are routine-based and not challenging at all. Relaxed office environment and friendly employees. Work under no competition and no pressure.

Cons

Boring atmosphere, almost no humor in the office. People rarely think out of the box; lack of creativity and energy. High turnover rate. Low wage.
