Lucked into an amazing job

Pros

I completely lucked into finding this job. Was looking heavily at other opportunities in the NYC area when a recruiter pitched this job to me out of the blue. Said what the heck, took the preliminary test (which I actually had a lot of fun with, all logic problems and a couple coding), and ended up really liking the people I interviewed with. Everything just fell into place, and I couldn't be happier. This place is filled with the most hard-working, dedicated, extremely clever people I have ever met. It is a pleasure to work with them every day. Actual list of pros: - amazing and talented people - competitive pay and salary - opportunity to have a real impact on a young company - learn a really cool new technology - company-paid travel - very flexible working arrangements (WFH, actually unlimited days off, etc.)

Cons

- occasionally a lot of travel - very much a self-directed role, so if you need to be hand held through work you won't do well here.
