Politics has been the biggest and sharpest contrast from when I joined. Some of the earlier employees tell me it's was even better before. That means you might get chopped off even when you deliver. No career progression; doesn't matter how well you are doing. Career progression is based on politics and how much management likes you, which is expected but the degree that it plays a role is incredible. There have been quite a few women in high positions that have been let go. Not saying that it was unwarranted but there are very few women in positions of power and even fewer minorities. The worst part is that there are very good candidates, but they are not given the opportunity. Product is under threat from Microsoft and the threat is real.

Bipolar and unprofessional management with unrealistic expectations. Be prepared to play reindeer games as there is NO CLEAR SIGHT of promotion + around the clock change with your career growth. Management tends to project their insecurities and cope with it by treating their employees horribly, but don't worry, this org knows to stay with the same scripted stories of overcoming challenges. In my personal opinion, I would stay far away from this company if you're looking to get your foot in the door and find a reputable company that will treat you with some dignity and provide ACTUAL support.
