Great Company - Quality of work and life focus

Pros

- very well managed and run - gages your workload correctly and allows for you work to your needs - quality co-workers and management - different types of work, will not pigeonhole you into boring work - you can work 40 hours or you can work more if you want. Typically at this level you get paid straight hourly for every hour of overtime. - overtime is not expected and most everyone works their 40.

Cons

- the pay is on par with the typical power systems consulting firms. However with the uptick of cost of living and increased salaries of other electrical engineering job types, the pay may need to be re-visited.

We have a performance-based culture in which I expect individuals to be promoted based on qualifications and merit, not tenure.
