Pros

Good culture with competitive pay for this region. Good resources for technical knowledge.

Cons

Some managers tend to micro manage. Lateral movement to different positions/experiences may be difficult.

Regarding your possible interest in other positions/experiences, if you have not already completed a Career Development Plan and discussed with your manager, I recommend you do that soon to chart a future course. That may also be a good opportunity to talk with your manager about backing off the 'engagement level' in your work to allow you to work more independently :)

Pros

There are so many pros to working at Ulteig that I don’t even know where to start! >> The leadership from the top and at all levels is excellent. Although the employees here are already very happy, leadership is still always striving to improve employees’ happiness and the culture here. >> Ulteig is incredibly flexible with employees and their schedules. They also continuously encourage PTO usage and focus on mental health, especially during the pandemic. >> Speaking of the pandemic, the transition from the office to 100% working from home for everyone could not have been more seamless. We were very well positioned to make that change on a dime with our great investments in technology and our awesome IT department. >> How have I made it this far yet and not mentioned ESOP?? As an ESOP, every employee is such an important contributor. This is a huge driver in every employee to constantly strive for excellence. This isn’t just a job to do – it’s our company to take care of and we take pride and ownership in it. Everyone has a voice at this company.

Cons

The con is that there are too many pros so it's hard to mention them all.
