Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I am happy to see how positively you feel about the work environment and your team. Certainly we pay for overtime hours for hourly workers as required by the laws of your home province in Canada. While not required by law for salaried workers (for your job classification), we also pay for some work hours above 40 per week. Very short-term illnesses are covered within our paid time off benefit. The government covers short-term disabilities beyond that.

I hope you are engaging in conversations with your manager about mitigating the long hours - based on our average work hours per employee, that is not typical for our workforce.
