      Pros

      - cool work environment - investment into the business (i.e. SAP) - strong brand - innovative and original designs - ownership is involved - global company based out of Toronto

      Cons

      - you need to fit within the Umbra "appropriate" look - old regime is close minded and not open to new ideas - continual turnover - a new face being introduced weekly - highly emotional company - Senior Management sets the tone - brand confusion - functional for mom or design for high-end décor? - company revolves around designers and yet they continually leave

      Pros

      I think it is a good place for interns or recent grads to cut their teeth...then move on quickly...

      Cons

      They look for quantity over quality...if they see quality they try to find a way to 'steal' the design and re-use it without paying for it. They have a terrible reputation with outside designers for their dishonesty and only being concerned with perception to the outside world. They like to latch on to young, hip talent at all costs.

      -You meet some great people there -cafe on site -great discount

      Cons

      This is the most missed managed company that I have ever worked for. Senior management are never available to give a definitive answer and all have a different opinion. The amount of re-work is incredible
