Pros

You'll work with a handful of fantastic people who are doing the best they can under absurdly juvenile management. Wholesale discount on product. A subsidized lunch and (sometimes) breakfast program but keep in mind there's nowhere else to go out here.

Cons

Senior Executive team is neither focused or truly in touch with the marketplace or the design world. Decisions made over the past 6-7 years have created a horrible environment for people to work in, any innovation that was once here has been replaced by complacency and a cynicism towards design. They are rich though so probably do not care enough to change. Long overtime hours unpaid and without much if any appreciation (I honestly just don't think they notice). Terrible management and greed driven choices by the sales teams leads to these things being standard around here. HR teams have been fired, quit, outsourced and run by finance in my time here. The problem is not with them (hint hint). There are so many more.

Pros

Ahhh the ususal cafe, ahhh...bbbbbb thats all folks

Cons

Way to many to mention, think of a North Korean labor camp with a cafe on sight. LOl I worked here for four years, I could tell you stories kiddies that would curl your toes, LOL Management is horrible, believe the reviews, no words can describe working in this house of horrors, and the factroy sale, dont get me started folks, Les runs this freak show, probably has not walked on the floor in years. If I could give it lower than a one star I would, but I am just being nice...for your own sanity, just run and hide in the Umbra cafe when they call u for the interview...LOL

Umbra - SMOKE and MIRRORS

Pros

On site cafe, on site gym, non-management personal.

Cons

Senior Management is terrible, they yell at each other during meetings, they discuss inapporiate subjects with non-management staff in the meeting room ie other employees performance, likes and dislikes (management and non-management), who is going to be fired, they refer to warehouse employees as Monkeys. No such thing as JOB SECURITY Over the last three years, they have fired several long term employees - some who had worked for the company since it started. NO room for advancement unless you are in the click. Constent, high turn-over in staff. Looking for individuals, who think outside of the box, what they are really looking for a people who they can put inside the box and control. Don't speak your mind, unless you are looking to be fired.
