Pros
I’m so impressed with the people who work at Unboxed. They are passionate, friendly, and energetic and because of that, the environment radiates these traits. The teams are very creative and fun while still being wildly efficient. They will jump in to help each other even if someone is just having a bad day, are able to quickly pivot while still keeping their positive mindset. I feel very empowered to make decisions or changes and I know I will be supported by my manager and by the teams too. I’ve gotten the chance to work on things I haven’t had the opportunity to in the past, so I feel like I’m always learning. After being in the IT industry for 17 years, I truly feel like I’ve found my tribe.
Cons
Because we are so client-focused and need to be able to react quickly, plans change frequently. In order to work here and be successful without feeling stressed, you will need to be able to pivot quickly. I personally feel like this could also be a pro, but I point this out because Unboxed is not a place for people who have difficulty with changing their original plan. Flexibility is a must.
