Pros

The "worker bee" people are amazing. Kind, caring and gracious. They made it worth staying.

Cons

As a mid-senior level female manager, I felt completely unsupported and constantly set up to fail. Executive leadership (XD) points fingers, throws employees under the bus and uses manipulation and blame as a way of "managing". I was constantly met with resistance to change without any recommendation from leadership. They label managers who say NO to wild, unrealistic job requests (in efforts to protect exhausted, overworked employees) as inflexible. There is zero respect or priority for the integrity of creative process or ideation. The level of dysfunction at this company was too much to bear. Additionally, I was told I could only hire a new female employee if I "softened her up because she was too edgy". In her interview with XD executive leadership, she was told "work/life balance is a cop out". They promote the culture as being "authentically you" but say things like that behind closed doors. You must fit an extremely conservative mold at this company. The turnover rate in the XD department is increasingly high and saddening. Promotions and raises only happen when someone quits. Men and women are not paid equally for the same role.

Pros

Work environment- old renovated mansion with nice amenities Fun coworkers Free parking or RTD reimbursement

Cons

Lack of development to move up Leadership has been there for too long and doesn’t relate well to newer staff, doesn’t accept questions, and if they don’t like you they don’t help you succeed and let you fail Not enough training to meet their expectations Pay is low Long hours and not sufficient comp time or PTO Favor those that they like who don’t question policies or procedures Don’t set goals or performance improvement strategies when someone is struggling

Pros

Unbridled is an amazing company filled with some of the most creative, hard working, and kind people. I have worked for companies from 12 people to 40,000 and Unbridled makes everyone feel special. The team's commitment and ideas are what sets us apart from other agencies. The people is what motivates me to continue coming to work every day after more than a dozen years. There is something new to learn every day from a co-worker. The character and credibility of my peers makes me proud to be part of the team. There are a variety of opportunities for employees, there are parties galore, and perks that friends envy. The flexibility is outstanding. If you need to leave work early, come in late, or work from home because of personal reasons, no one even questions it.

Cons

As with all hospitality jobs, you are required to work long hours and travel but you get to keep all miles/points and get comp time to balance the time away from home.
