Pros

Pay/benefits. But can’t take a day off and on call 24/7 with no schedule.

Cons

Here is how much this company hates the people that make them record profits...... if you lay-off 1 time in 30 days you are fired!!!

Pros

Pay is half decent, today however, its not nearly as competitive as it used to be.

Cons

Pay for performance is a thing of the past in todays UPRR. Unfortunately this job is plagued with immensely long hours, extreme expectations and even when you do meet them regularly, you are rewarded with a pitiful bonus as your colleagues get sniped left and right. Your reward is as my boss told me "being lucky that you're still working here". Steer clear, there is plenty better business to work for. Health care is miserable. Bonuses are a joke. If you're not part of the boys club you can post record numbers 5 years in a row and still be in the same position.
