Pretty Store but Disrespectful Supervisors

Pros

Uniqlo has a rich and strict culture that prides itself on excellence and perfection. Their stories are usually very beautiful and well maintained by a dedicated staff. The company values are what spoke to me the loudest when I first joined this culture.

Cons

Patronizing way that the supervisors speak to their employees is downright shameful. They honestly don't seem to relate or show any sort of compassion to their workforce, and that builds a horrible rift between employees and their supervisors. The strict store culture also works against Uniqlo because they ask way too much of their employees with very little compensation.

Pros

30% discount Accommodating to school schedule You learn ALOT, you are treated as more than your title. Learn how to check computer for sales top items have part in layout changes etc. 1$ raise every promotion. Start 10$ High Standards!

Cons

Bi-weekly paycheck Many levels in order to move up. A1= regular associate A2 A3 AA AA2 AA3 Supervisor SUP1 SUP2 SUP3 etc each to get to AA 2years and thats if you're lucky. You do not get promoted every 3 months, they don't LIKE to promote back to back just because. You have to kiss up to the right people to get double promoted. Management is very catty!!!! Comment Cards! Customers get annoyed!! cant work more than 30 hours and if you look at them the wrong way they cut your hours.
