Great first job, but can be quite annoying if you don't play your cards right.
Pros
$10/hr is really good. 30% Discount is also really good, especially since the store's clothing isn't very expensive to begin with. The supervisors and managers are really fun to be around (if they like you). Overall, it's a really solid first job.
Cons
-Honestly, they want you to care far too much. As a low rank sales associate you will sometimes find yourself doing things a supervisor is supposed to be doing, and they mask it up by calling it "training" and attempting to make you feel like you are doing something important. -Workplace politics/favoritism run rampant. There is a little circle of cool kids, consisting of mostly supervisors and Advanced Associates that do next to nothing. You have to kiss some serious behind to move up. -When hours are cut, they are cut HARD. -Can be a pain to balance with school.
