Pros

Discount, overtime, pto, potential to grow if you speak Japanese or don't mind working 60+ hrs/week, maybe paid travel for new store opening

Cons

No functional training, low pay for job expectations, gotta drink the kool aid to be respected/noticed by management, promotion structure doesn't work the way they might hope

Pros

Uniqlo was great to work at.. The company offers opportunity to grow and you and even relocate to one of their location in Japan!

Cons

The company follows Eastern guidelines that might seem odd to the Western worker. You have to recite company guidelines in the beginning of each day.

A Learning Experience for better or worse

Pros

Once you work here, I pretty confident you will be able to work at in other retail establish (non-high end) there is possible. Many of the skills you learn will carry you successfully throughout your retail career.

Cons

The amount of money you make doesn't reflect the amount of work required. In my personal opinion the management team (supervisors and managers, excluding store managers) are horribly trained. My experience ended due to supervisors inability to work with someone who threaten their job. I was punished and retaliated against for being great at my job.
