Pros

Flexible work hours, interesting work. Job opportunities available if you are willing to work in the Washington, D.C. area. Lots of tools available for in-house learning.

Cons

Lots of instability in these economic times. Company benefits are slowly being taken away. The number of employees continues to go down as a result of consolidation.

Pros

Get experience and get out. This company does not care about its employees. Get your entry level experience and then find a real company to work for who cares about its employees and actually gives a decent raise evey year.

Cons

Constantly reducing people and benefits and expecting those left behind to work harder and be happy they are still employed. This company had very knowledgeable and hard working employees who want the company to be successful. Unfortunately management ran the company into the ground and there are hardly any benefits left. Managers don't care about the employees and are just the puppets for upper management. The onky time I heard from my manager was through email to tell me to turn in my time card and my joke of an annual review.

Pros

For professional level positions, Unisys provides employees a lot of flexibility in their work hours and work location. Many employees work virtually. The best part is employees are not looked down upon for working virtually. In addition, Unisys provides a lot of challenges in helping turn the company around - recreating processes/policiies. I enjoy working with my co-workers; a great group of people.

Cons

Unisys is at a critical point in time. Ed Coleman is working on making some major changes to bring the company into a profitable status. That involves layoffs throughout the world and some cuts such as no increases this year and very tight control over spending any money.
