      Lots of perks. Company truck. Free fuel. Flexible schedule.

      Cons

      It really depends on where you are and the market for new construction. I worked at United in WI and Tampa, FL and saw that the Tampa reps were making double what any WI reps made. Big cities have more opportunities.

      Leadership, Gossiping coworkers, Backstabbing coworkers, Workload, Expecting to work off hours unpaid (answering phones and emails), Old equipment, employees that don't want to show up to work causing the ones that do to have to do their work and the others to keep up. ALOT of favoritism. Typical good ol boy company.

      United Rentals understands that the motivation behind everything we do is to support our customers. The 1UR workshops that every employee attended are a testament to this customer focus. The management team does a great job developing their employees and helping them grow into their next position in the organization.

      Cons

      The pace is extremely fast. United Rentals asks their employees to do many things and do them well and it can be a challenge if you are not prepared for it.
