      Pros

      Easy jobs, short days, no weekend. lazy workers heaven. They are very understanding about attending to personal matters. it is a great place for a working mom who's only goal is a paycheck.

      Cons

      advancement is not based on performance but simply being there long enough. there is so much redundancy on the business side any attempts to streamline anything is frowned upon because no one wants it discovered that they actaully do nothing.

      Problems at USA? Future not very bright! Expect USA to be gone when the Space Shuttle Program ends.

      Pros

      The work is on one of the most important scientific and complex systems built by NASA, the Space Shuttle. The work can be challenging but is also on equipment that is now primarily obsolete in the electronic world which has improved its capabilities. The work dealt with Human Space Flight as was extremely critical.

      Cons

      Compartmentalization was rampant as well as single points of failure. Management was not up to what their own engineers were required to do or required to know. Engineering was primarily ignored when decisions regarding problems needed to be made. Quality standards were lax.
