Pros

The mission is noble and, for the most part, the employees are focused on how to successfully deliver on that mission.

Cons

The business model is antiquated and not aligned with today's donor. Inattention by the board to recognize irresponsible management of the budget was concerning.

Pros

UW is what you you would expect- corporate approach to the NP space. Very slow to change direction or implement new ideas. Steady work, consistent schedule around the annual campaign, but the lack of innovation is frustrating. A great place to start and get your feet wet in NP, but entry positions have a high turnover and there isn’t always much room for growth.

Cons

Salaries are notoriously low, but benefits are good. A lot of dead weight- people who have worked there for decades and don’t want to see anything change.
