Pros

Most employees are nice people, want to do a good job. Meet our mission in some areas, funding and providing services to people in the community.

Cons

Senior management not up to the job. Organization has not updated itself to reflect the changes in the market and economy that are affecting us. Problems with fundraising and resource development, some are due to the down economy but it seems like other nonprofits are doing well or expanding when we're not.

Pros

Good for experience if straight out of college or for learning the joys and pains of working in not for profit.

Cons

People rise in this organization based on their compassion and personality, not on their abilty to do their jobs effectively.
