Pros

Where do I start? The opportunities for advancement are endless with Wellmed. Not only do they support your personal growth, they also provide an amazing support system to their employees. During the start of the pandemic it was scary and hectic for all healthcare workers. Wellmed stepped up to the plate and provided emotional as well as financial support. I am proud to be part of a corporation that provides genuine preventative care for patients and their supporting families. I also appreciate how openly diverse and culturally aware they are.

Cons

I cannot speak of any cons, due to the fact that I have not had a negative experience here.

Pros

Working from home is a plus.

Cons

The metrics to meet are horrible. No wonder they have a high turnover rate. It's counts against you if your on the phone helping someone when your break hits. All they care about are they're numbers. I've been doing customer service like this for close to 30 years and this company is the worst I've seen for the workers.

Thank you for your response. Working from home is a great perk which I too enjoy! Having an open conversation with management about your concerns is always an option. Thank you for your contribution to the success of the enterprise & we wish you the best! ~ Erin

Pros

Paycheck. Can get exposed to the belly of the corporate beast

Cons

Think twice about taking an offer from these guys. The culture is abysmal here, mass layoffs frequently, employees are terrified of losing their job which results in a ton of land grabbing and finger pointing. Tech is severely lacking and they are attempting to offshore as much as possible so expect a continued downward trend. Additionally, the mass layoffs and benefit slashing is resulting in a total brain drain. Educated, hard workers are leaving for better pastures or getting axed to inflate the stock price. I work with many departments and have been here for several years, this is not the review of someone with a bad experience or department this is a total overview that you should take into consideration before on boarding.
