Cons
I worked for Optum for 8 years. They underpay employees below a certain grade level. You only get a maximum for 2% raise a year which is pennies. The company keeps buying small companies and have gotten so big, it is impossible to apply for a job within the company. If you want to move internally you have thousands of people applying for the same position. You don’t even hear back from a posting for months. There are clicks and if you are not apart of the click you can’t get anywhere. I would not recommend this company for someone who wants to keep their sanity.
