Pros

Good co-workers, 401k matching is good but maxes out at 5%

Cons

Work-life balance horrible, the worst invoice review workflow in the industry. They will lay off employees without a blink of an eye.

Not the best choice

Pros

The hot chocolate is good.

Cons

High pressure environment, little room for improvement. Low organizational efficiency, too much room for miscommunications. Mostly hardware and patent-related work is present. If you're software-focused, this is probably not the right role for you.

Pros

The health insurance is good. Other than that, it is proving quite difficult to think of any pros of working at iRunway.

Cons

Grossly over worked and under paid. Higher-ups expect you to be available all hours of the day (we're talking 11pm, midnight, 2am) without fail or you will be deemed 'unwilling to work'. You will also be deemed 'unwilling to work' if you mention that you are staffed on a project that does not match your skill set at all. Rather than try to correct the errors in staffing or management to prevent the same errors from recurring, the Associates are scapegoated despite being the ones who were set up for failure. When review time comes around, nobody cares that you were put on a project you never should have been on in the first place. All anybody will hear is that you were defiant in constantly 'speaking out' against the project and that you 'under performed' in terms of deliverables. You will be paying rent for an apartment you won't actually live in. iRunway bills the position as having 25% travel requirement. However, once on a project, the typical travel routine is: gone for the week, back for the weekend, gone for the week, back for the weekend, and so on for the duration of the project. It is not uncommon to do this for three to six months straight.
