Pros

Staff is very supportive eachother, kind, helpful, overall great team players

Cons

Not any incentives for picking up extra during short staff, just guilty expectations. In return many nurses have left to travel or have left nursing as a whole due to burnout.,

Pros

Working with a preceptor for the orientation period which is 12 weeks. I just started, and so far so good. No complaints yet. Everyone’s been very accommodating, I just don’t know after the orientation period or after the 1 year residency. Also benefits such as health care, vision, dental and 401k match.

Cons

I guess I get paid less than my other RN job which is in LTC. Also, they’re understaffed, so I anticipate a heavy workload once I get out of orientation. Everyone’s getting the COVID.
