      Pros

      Everyone is very friendly and helpful. When I first started working there I had know idea what I was doing but everyone stepped in and helped out and was very understanding.

      Cons

      Not to many cons the paid leave that they offer isn't that great. I also am not really a fan of the health insurance they recently switch from Blue cross to a different insurance company and I am not a fan of this new insurance company.

      Pros

      - care about employees - FINALLY have a nice gym (@ St. Luke's) - Some great managers to work with - Whenever there is a great letter of thanks from a former patient, it is spread quickly for all to see- they really appreciate good nurses who work hard and do amazing things for their patients

      Cons

      - some managers are not the greatest and upper management is sometimes slow to get new managers - not just for St. Luke's but for all hospitals in Iowa... you NEED to increase nurses salary. There is a major reason why we are so short here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Good pay, nice co workers, schedules are somewhat flexible, clean environment, fun co workers, cafeteria discount, fitness club discount or reimbursement

      Cons

      Benefits are not very good, job security could be a lot better, management does not seem to listen, little to no opportunity for advancement, high turnover
