Work life balance as a salaried employee. Continual lack of employees.

Not a lot of opportunity for bonuses

Will be verbally harassed by patients & staff occasionally Tension between kitchen staff and nutrition staff Room for improvement to make some processes more efficient

Management, coworkers, clients, work, no bonuses

Same as all other corporations. Management asks for ideas & pretends to listen or care but do nothing in the long run. Problem employees continue to stay employed with little to no reprimand. Many little bonuses instead of just giving us a flat raise that would actually make a difference.

Starting pay, nurse/ patient ratios

poor leadership throughout the company. lack of organization. bureaucracy. the bonus structure is bad. Favoritism towards physicians and lack of support for administrators. short staffed and tight budget.

All sick time and holiday pay is included in vacation pay. You are replaceable.

Unity Point needs to work on benefits- really could use a pension plan, better health insurance, bonuses, better pay (due to inflation), etc
