Pros

At Universal you get to hear some if the best music has to offer first.

Cons

Upper level don't care about their employees. They don't care if people with experience are treated right; they think anyone can do any job (not theirs of course). Most depts are underemployed.

Pros

What the company makes is cool and hip. Being so close to the scene, I always knew the latest and greatest bands. A great job for when you're young in your 20's.

Cons

1. Terrible pay considering what other companies were willing to pay for my skill set. 2. No clear vision of the future. Instead of taking music to a new level and innovating, it was business as usual day in and day out.
