Pros

The atmosphere within the company is great for people who enjoy working with others. There truly is a sense of community and camaraderie with my colleagues.

Cons

Coming from a job that paid $60,000+ to one that pays almost 1/2 it can be a bit daunting. But that is not the companies fault.

Good atmosphere, good people, good pay, the upper level managers are pretty good at moving the credit union forward in a positive direction

Cons

Limited options for promotion, tough to use vacation time, traffic in Austin is ridiculous, young co-workers are immature and often offend other coworkers

This is a high integrity company which starts from the top. If you want to work in an environment that cares about it's members this is a great place. Strong benefits, with lots of internal growth opportunities.

Cons

Different departments have different reputations and cultures. Depending on which department you are in, it may affect your job satisfaction.
