Pros

The pay was decent for entry-level media work, and the office perks (free coffee, flexible hours on good days) were a nice touch.

Cons

This place is a minefield of dysfunction that can wreck your mental health and career trajectory if you're not careful. From day one, I witnessed (and endured) a culture where chaos is manufactured to keep everyone off-balance—projects get dumped without context, deadlines shift like sand, and "heroes" swoop in to "fix" messes they helped create. It's exhausting and manipulative, with zero accountability for those pulling the strings. Technical roles, especially in distribution and post-production, are starved for expertise; decisions get made by folks who don't grasp the basics, leading to constant rework, data mishaps, and near-disasters that could tank client relationships or worse. Burnout is rampant—expect 60+ hour weeks disguised as "team spirit," threats over 'who done it' issues, and a vibe where speaking up gets you labeled the problem. I even saw a direct report under my supervision pushed to the brink by the unrelenting pressure, to the point where stress-related vision loss became a real issue—he had to seek medical help just to keep functioning. Personally, the constant tension manifested in my own body too; I ended up chipping a molar from grinding my teeth through endless high-stakes crises that no one else seemed to own. It's not just toxic; it's hazardous to your well-being, with stress levels that spill into personal life and physical health crises like dental damage or worse. If you're early in your career, this could scar you for years.
