Pros

Ambitious. Upstart wants to expand access to affordable credit by remaking the way credit decisions are made. It's unsatisfied doing that in just one credit product, and is currently working on several more (small business, mortgage, etc) Mission. From top to bottom, folks genuinely care about he mission of affordable credit. They want to say yes to more borrowers at lower rates Talented. Top-tier across ML, engineering, product, design, ops, Humble. No one has an ego. Folks offer opinions while knowing they might be wrong, and open to having new evidence or arguments change their minds.

Cons

Love our remote first model, but still working out kinks with planning in person offsites

Pros

The only pro is the money they give you to purchase tech items

Cons

The way they treat their employees is horrible. They make you clock in and out at certain times. The managers are also very strict with OT. The Quality Assurance Team makes you take quizzes every week and if you fail you go on PIP. Low pay job for all the work you do. Don't recommend it.
