Please don’t work here, the leadership doesn’t know what they’re doing and are losing money. Unethical business practices and misleading marketing filled with lies are catching up to them. No hiring strategy, their leadership meetings are just deciding who to fire

Pros

This list is very short. To be honest I can't think of any Pros.

Cons

1. Poor Product 2. Inexperienced management 3. Politics 4. Compensation 5. Instability of position and a startup 6. Toxic environment I recommend avoiding this startup, even if you are a fresh grad. You will not be able to learn a lot because the leadership team is not experienced enough to get business done in the Higher Education

Great place for career development while making a social impact

Pros

While working at Upswing, I've had the chance to work with a multitude of different people at varying levels of experience, job functions, and backgrounds. The company is a tech company with a social mission, which means that I've been able to learn a lot about product development and engineering while also gaining empathy for underrepresented student populations.

Cons

The business model can be very challenging. Partnering with colleges and universities is often a very long sales-cycle, so a lot of the wins can take several months to a year to materialize. On the flip side, this means that we are able to develop strong, lasting relationships with colleges, but it can be tough to get things started.
