Pros

Things change. Don't like something, wait 3 months. Fun and challenging projects in an emerging space.

Cons

Lack of a product as a product company. Tends to sell without an understanding of scope leading to extra work in less time.

Really missing the mark

Pros

* still lots of great/smart people left despite mass layoffs and attrition * still plenty of interesting problems to solve and huge market opportunity

Cons

* decisions seem to be driven heavily by non-technical people who appear grossly uninformed about the state of the product * huge push to hire sales and marketing people while hemorrhaging engineering talent - why sell a product that doesn't even exist? * lack of focus on listening to and retaining key technical talent. this led to a huge amount of work being offloaded onto already resource-constrained teams. * mind boggling lack of transparency/clarity around layoffs. direct questions and feedback are met with non answers and platitudes
