Managers target you if you try to have a voice Impossible workload most days didnt even get to take a break or lunch and still couldn't finish the work. Lazy supervisor take 6 hours to respond to an email . Then they get mad when you don't call the insured but you don't have the correct answer because they don't answer you . They preach customer service but the supervisor get mad when they have to take a call and blame the adjuster automatically. The systems are so old and everyone give different answer very disorganized and confusing .Instead of helping you and teaching you to do it correctly they just yell at you they don't want to help or assist. Multiple other jobs at utica national do way less work and get paid more and are treated way better probably why the turnover rate is so high . In the claims department most employees are burnt out and under appreciated but everyone scared to say anything . don't get sick or take vacation when you come back you get reprimanded for the claims that were not handle when you were gone . They literally tell you to move your diaries so other people don't have to handle them but then yell at you when the insured is mad ..They don't care if your kids get sick they just care if the diaries are completed. The communication between the adjusters and the appraisal team is embarrassing .
