      Very good pay. Fantastic potential to have huge impact on business with massive IT transformation. Very little corporate red tape compared to large enterprises.

      Cons

      Grueling marathon of dealing with tech debt in every facet of IT. CMM 1-2 everywhere in IT.

      Lack of staffing No formal onboarding process which may be tough for new workers, especially if not requiring any experience Systems are outdated and often have issues during an average week No one seems to be rowing in the same direction Tough to advance or growth with the company if not local to main office, some favoritism at play with promotions Expected to wear many hats, often ones that have no bearing on job performance or metrics
