Pros
Almost all of the people I've met here have been nothing but warm and encouraging, it is a very friendly environment. The new CEO is very down to earth, can always be found at events (such as serving ice cream). He's set aggressive but reasonable goals for the future. Their financials, while not spectacular, are on an upward trajectory. The pay and benefits are very reasonable.
Cons
Legacy systems straight out of the 1960s, any new software implementation tends to break 3 other things, a lot of fires being put out on a regular basis. Most job openings seem to be either for minimum wage grunt work or senior leadership, not a ton in-between. Brain drain of experts retiring (many older people, as is the industry standard), taking their knowledge with them when they retire. A lot of people are grandfathered into pensions and it makes the new hire benefits seem diminished by comparison.
