      Pros

      VAST is a transparent culture with a big ownership mentality. There are minimal rules, minimal policies. At the same time it's a highly supportive and collaborative environment. Everyone from Renen on down is available to help with anything needed. We have very little pride of titles here. Merit means a lot more here than "diversity," as it should. The result is a relatively small number of employees building a company with a trajectory unlike anything I've seen in my career.

      Cons

      It's not for everyone. But for people who love a challenge and want to leave a mark and build a great company then VAST is the place to be.

      Pros

      The macro is about engineering smart, robust software to transform and enhance a customers's relationship with their data... rapid market adoption in high-growth markets. In doing so, it becomes possible to rewrite the playbook on how successful companies are built.

      Cons

      Working to constantly reinforce the startup mentality while growing to outsell and underspend the benchmark. It's hard work where it's sometimes hard to see the forest from the trees when growing 4x per year.

      The baseline product is okay.

      Cons

      Flash prices have leapt enormously and there are proper no tiering options to reduce cost. Also concern for customers looking to replace failed drives as price hikes impact the bottom line.
