Pros

Full array of benefits, but health benefits are expensive. Some locations are better managed and staffed than others. The past focus on high quality of medicine was great. Some locations are better equipped than others.

Cons

Losing the prior focus on best medicine in order to improve the bottom line. Keeping medical supplies and vaccines as minimally stocked as possible leads to running out or unable to obtain when back orders occur (bite nose in spite of your face). Shortening appointment times to see more- the ever push to see more and more. Not focusing on best medicine and high quality anymore.

Does Not Care About The People

Pros

My team and the bond we have with each other. The clients you get to build relationships with on a daily basis The patients you get to help.

Cons

Wages and Benefits for all positions are very poor. Most team members have to have a 2nd job. Even I as a hospital manager I have a 2nd job. Field leadership is manipulative and unsupportive. Does not care about the teams in the hospital. Doctors allowed to behave badly. Inexperienced field leadership lacking business knowledge. Unwilling to support the local teams. This has become more evident during COVID. It is really easy to sit on your couch at home and pass judgment on others when you have not left your home to visit a hospital in since March.

Pros

Really good benefits but that is about it.

Cons

Micromanaged, worked to death, long hour, told how to practice in a subtle way by not providing basic diagnostics needed to provide standard patient care. Allow unacceptable and hostile work environment to exist
