Pros

Good pay. Benefits like health care.

Cons

Lots of turnover with insubordination, gossip, and unethical practices. May have been just the one location but overall, not a great experience.

Pros

Multi doctor practice that sees exotics from rabbits to reptiles, as well as dogs and cats. General practice with some urgent care aspects. Competitive pay for Veterinary Assistants(19$/hr for green people), many opportunities to grow, Penn foster program, 750$ CE for CVTs, generous discounts for up to 4 pets, and wonderful coworkers to be with. Doctors are great to work with too and a high emphasis for respect, cooperation, and trust.

Cons

Not as good competitive wages for CVTs, high cost for veterinary care, overtime heavily discouraged, and management is never on the floor.

Business Outlook

Pros

Will help people get education and support to become an RVT Has access to a lot of support and learning opportunities Well established Access to high quality medical equipment as needed

Cons

Low pay Don't value the employee Doesn't value the role of an RVT High cost for clients-- not always doing what is easiest/best for the clients Everything is what is best for the company (that is where their priority is)
