Cons

Toxic workplace, poor management, employee turnover rate is high, double standards, overworked (mainly due to being short-staffed because management is unwilling to hire adequate number of employees needed to run the hospital well), employees are not valued and are underpaid.

VCA does not CARE about Continental Boarding

Very good vet benefits, as a full time employee I get free vaccines and 75% off vet bills.

Cons

I work at Continental Boarding and VCA does not care about us or our facility. They will not treat us like a boarding facility instead they treat us like a hospital and the way they do things doesn’t work for us. We try to talk to our acting manager and she is set in her ways and doesn’t care what we have to say. They keep people employed even if they put dogs in danger MULTIPLE TIMES. For the amount of crap we deal with we are underpaid and they do not give raises as promised. They also tried to fix our kennel but didn’t hire professionals and it ended up way worse than it started. They keep changing everything our clients are used to and we lose more and more everyday.
