Great bennies, work- life balance, good pay and pet comps.

Cons

Micromanaged beyond repair, from hosp manager to doctors. Disrespectful lazy workers complimented while other staff ran circles around them and seemed to not be appreciated. Upper management discombobulated and constantly changing protocols.

Never boring, but awful management

Pros

I love our hospital because we can treat a lot of different issues. We are a general practice, so we focus on wellness, but we are equipped to treat emergencies while we are open. We do orthopedic and complex surgeries that would otherwise be done at a referral practice. In this sense, it is never boring.

Cons

I know I am underpaid compared to techs at other clinics and the management here needs work. I am on-call almost the entire weekend that I work, even though we are not open, and I get no incentive or additional pay for my time spent at work on my days off. I feel burnt out after only being a tech for less than a year.

Great opportunity to learn and build your skills.

Cons

- From management to HR is horrible, They recently hired a new Tech Manager that instead of helping has made the hospital worse, HR is a joke. Might as well talk to a wall at that point, they don't make anything better. - A lot of Favoritism plays a part from Supervisors to Tech managers. - Really bad pay, they will not pay you what you are worth.
