Pros

I enjoy most of the people I work with, and overall its a good company. Our department is definitely short-staffed, but the manager works with us to give off days as requested.

Cons

It's a 24 hour practice, so hours can be long.

Pros

some hospitals have kept good managers, but they're dropping like flies. great staff for the most part. everyone really cares about animals.

Cons

raises and bonuses non-existent. expected to stay late, pick up extra shifts, and miss your breaks. very little PTO, and requests to use it frequently denied. absolutely horrible benefits. impossible to make any change or suggestions for improving the environment for employees- what corporate says, goes. no opportunity for growth. favoritism galore. high turnover, high burnout, and management doesn't care when long-time employees leave, they make no effort to keep employees.
