Pros

They know how to hire great people. Free sodas and exposure to other great departments and professionals. Good places to eat around the area.

Cons

Embarrassing high turnover, zero training and support. Unfortunately it'll never change because all of management are friends first. As smart as they claim to be, they know how to hire great people but those idiots cant keep them. Average length of employment is 3-6 months before people leave. Very disorganized, long hours and unrealistic expectations. Recruiters wont tell you this so stay away.

Cold and Corporate

Pros

-Good discount on food, visits, and treatments for your pets; I saved hundreds in the 3 years I worked there. -The hours are consistent. -They also do yearly raises (I always had to 'remind' them multiple times though, and wouldn't have gotten my raise at all if I hadn't spoken up.)

Cons

-Cold, corporate environment. Money is the priority; employee welfare and patient care are an afterthought. -Few, if any, opportunities for training or advancement. -Kennel staff in particular is treated like garbage. -Kennel pay is usually minimum wage, even though they have you doing many of the same things the techs are doing.
