Pros
VCA offered discounted veterinary care for up to 4 pets. My manager was very flexible with scheduling work schedules around school classes.
Cons
Quality of care for patients was shockingly low. VCA as a company takes as little time as possible with clients and patients only concerned with making money. There was a wide sense that management did not care about employees at all and that every employee there was replaceable. Strong work ethic and desire to do well will go unrewarded. Raises would be promised to employees and not honored. Negative work environment with employees bullying other employees. Very little sense of team work. On more than one occasion employees would be working in unsafe work environments. Sanitation and preventative measures to prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases are not taken.
