      Extremely low pay for such an expensive hospital, had friend who worked years and years without raise (some even took pay cuts)

      Pros

      Very comfortable and casual environment, but people still get their work done. Interesting and challenging work without being overwhelming.

      Cons

      Benefits/Compensation are pretty poor, the departments are each run independently of each other, which can sometimes be good, but in most cases allows that department to work without any accountability.

      Opportunities for relocation abound - they can't seem to stop expanding

      Cons

      Expansion takes priority over quality of their hospitals. Needed supplies are constantly cut. They layer on rules and sales pitches for technicians and receptionists so we end up feeling like salesmen not healthcare workers. Hours are constantly cut, payroll is constantly an issue, yet what expected of us continues to rise. My life revolves around the hospital yet I can't live on my wages. This is to be expected with a corporately owned hospitals - because they will always be about their shareholders, not the quality of the 'product'. Also, the benefits are a JOKE.
