Pros

Great healthcare to work for. Training is very thorough, benefits are great and the pay is average. The practice looks out for their employees as well as their patients.

Cons

None here for me really other than the lunches the drug reps may bring for the staff is awesome.

Pros

The neurology residency PD is very passionate about resident education and is constantly trying to improve the experience for us. My fellow residents are excellent and fun to work with, as are all of the attendings. Most major sub-specialties are represented.

Cons

1)VCUHS does not have a chairman (the residency director is the interim chair, and with a full clinical schedule he does a great job despite being spread very thin) 2)The program is very inpt heavy. There are not enough residents to handle the high (and growing) patient volume.
